One hundred years after the continent of Amylte was taken to the brink of apocalypse, people are still struggling to rebuild their world. Horrors prowl the darkness, the primal spirits of war, cruelty, and suffering left over from an era when there were still nations, living only for violence. Noble Demons stake their claim on the world, heedless of the pain they cause the mere mortals in their way. Weapons from the Last War lie buried underground, ready to spring to life the second an innocent traveler comes too close.

John “Cobb” Cobbler is a pirate who’s gone a long time without his crew, a meddler who can’t let an injustice go unpunished, or at least unscolded. Tissa is a wanderer who’s survived the brutal deserts, the treacherous grasslands, and everything in-between in her search for the definite destiny and real answers she believes in. Penelope Hunter is a farmgirl whose love of simple pleasures belies very real skill as a healer. She has no idea what she’s doing, but she’s here to help.

Cat is a Game Master trying to push her latest game to the edge, with the help of her friends.
